Happy New Year 2008

We are ready to kick off the new year! I have many fun activities planned for January. Kansas Day is the 29th of this month. We will be discussing facts about Kansas, doing art activities with Mrs. Mayfield,singing songs and baking cookies shaped like Kansas.
We will also study about Martin Luther King, Jr. and some of the values that he taught that still apply to us today.
We are going to do more writing in our journals and of course continue reading and working hard in math.
