Kindergarten News for the New Year

Welcome Back to a Happy 2008!
Kindergarten students will ring in the New Year by beginning a unit on Penguins. We will be making penguins to display on our bulletin board outside our classroom as well as making a resolution to do something better for the new year. Stop by and take a peek!
January is also going to be filled with Kansas Day activities as we honor Kansas on January 29th. We will be making a booklet of Kansas symbols and will be engaged in an art project with Mrs. Mayfield (elementary art teacher).

I will be sending home color and number words for each student to keep in their Kiwi Pacs as homework practice. Also look for an individualized spelling list as we begin our spelling tests.
