Fridays are special for Galesburg 7th and 8th graders. Each Friday qualifying students participate in a problem solving activity.
Throughout the week students work to earn problem solving time by finishing assignments promptly, reading two hours outside of school, and by having their assignment book signed by a parent.
Problem solving activities have included hands-on building activities, logic problems, Smartboard activities and board games such as checkers and chess.
