Great Moonbuggy Race 2008
CHAMPIONS!
The Erie High School Prototyping and Problem Solving Class built two new moonbuggies to compete in NASA's Great Moonbuggy Race. The team left Erie on Wednesday, April 2nd and headed for Huntsville, Alabama, arriving on April 3rd. Friday, April 4th, was the race date. Thirty-four students, Mrs. Allene Hensley, Miss Kelci Adams, and Mr. David Ingram left Erie High School at 6:30 a.m. to travel to Independence Community College for the annual High School Competition Day. Earth Day has just gone by again, having been celebrated on Tuesday, April 25th.
