MAP assessment data show that this year's seniors improved their test scores on average by +3.23 in reading and +.23 in math.
Student surveys showed that students spent an average of over 63 hours working on their projects, 11.6 of those hours were outside of PBL time, and 7 hours were outside of the school day. They reported that in 90% of their time, they were using technology. They were absent an average of 3 days.
Parent surveys showed that 85% of students communicated with their parents about his/er project. Parents also reported that they observed their students working an average of 10 at home; and 77% felt their student was challenged, 90% felt their student did his/er best work, 28% asked a parent for help; 95% of parents felt that having access to a laptop computer impacted their student's achievement. 95% of all comments were positive.
