Spring is Springing!

May 13, 2008

Earth Day has just gone by again, having been celebrated on Tuesday, April 25th. The EHS Science Club planted flowers in the south flower bed to welcome summer with their bright red and white faces, and after only a few days they are already blooming. True, the weather turned a bit chilly on Friday, especially for those open-toed shoes and shorts, but it's not stopping the Science Club's little troopers.

Elsewhere on campus, other forms of vegetation are enjoying the April showers as trees are getting increasingly green and pretty fragrances fill the air. It is the season for new life as another year of school has almost passed us all by, and soon it will be time for another class of seniors, this reporter included, to say goodbye to Erie High and continue on to the next step of their lives.

We've reached 14 in our countdown, seniors, as the sovereign date May 17th draws ever closer. Make the days good ones!
