Learning about the Eye

January 30, 2008

The Eyeball
Everyone watched intently as Mrs. Brazle dissected a cow’s eyeball for us on Friday. We actually got to see all of the parts of the eye that we had learned about earlier. The cornea, iris, pupil, lens, retina, and optic nerve were more than just a picture on the overhead. Although some of us didn’t want to “see too close or touch the parts”, we learned “from a safe distance.” Thanks, Mrs. Brazle, for showing us the eye and giving us reasons for eye safety.
