What's New in Preschool

by Melissa Peak

Preschool children have been busy learning all about winter. We are learning about snow, snowmen, snowflakes, igloos, penguins, hibernation, migration, polar animals, and Eskimos.

While learning about snowflakes we discovered that no two snowflakes are alike. The children each had a homework project to complete with help from their parents. They were to make a snowflake using different pasta and whatever else they had at home. The children were provided with a pattern or they could come up with something on their own.

What we received back were wonderful snowflakes each very different and unique. Everyone did a terrific job! Stop by and take a look. They are hanging up in the hallway by the preschool room.
