FFA District Leadership School

Greenhand and senior FFA officers will attended the District Leadership School on Thursday, November 15th. Students competed in two areas--Ritual and Parliamentary Procedure. In Ritual competition, officers have to memorize opening and closing FFA ceremonies. They are judged on presence, memorization, and unity. For Parliamentary Procedure, teams run a meeting using parliamentary procedure and are judged on accuracy and presentation. The senior team placed 6th in Parliamentary Procedure. The Greenhand team placed first in Parliamentary Procedure. Awards are given to the top three chapters in each area and in overall leadership school. Erie's Greenhand team placed 3rd overall. Congratulations to these two teams for their efforts.
