AUTOMOTIVE ORIENTATION

This course is the beginning of the Automotive Technology program. It is open to all levels of students with no prerequisite. This class teaches automotive shop safety, ownership, and maintenance. Students who own, or will own, a vehicle will find this class valuable. The class will cover purchasing, insuring, and maintaining a vehicle. The class will also cover in- depth the mechanical systems of the vehicle and how they function separately and work together to get you where you’re going.
