Title 1 Parent Meeting

On September 26th the Title 1 Parent Meeting was held at Erie Elementary. Parents learned that Title 1 is state and federally funded, which pays for teacher and aides' salaries as well as summer school. Title 1 is a flexible program that gives remedial help to students in reading and math.
Mrs. Venneman gave parents a quiz which showed the importance of parent involvement. Parents watched a video called The Road to Reading Success.
Refreshments were served and Mrs. Venneman met with individual parents to discuss student test scores.
